App license
Your use of Auren is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Annual subscription
Auren offers one auto-renewing annual subscription. The United States price is $49.99 per year. Prices in other regions appear in local currency in the App Store.
Eligible new subscribers can receive a 7-day free trial. Apple determines eligibility and shows the offer before purchase confirmation. When the trial ends, Apple charges the annual price shown during purchase. The subscription then renews automatically each year unless you cancel it.
You do not need to create an Auren account to buy or restore the subscription. Apple associates the purchase with the App Store account used for payment.
Manage billing
Apple processes payment through the Apple account used for the purchase. 21 Media LLC does not receive your full App Store payment details.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account's Subscriptions settings. Cancel before the renewal date shown by Apple to prevent the next charge. Refund requests are handled through Apple's Report a Problem site.
Optional voice-provider usage
You can connect your own xAI, OpenAI, or Google developer API key to use that provider's cloud voices. This usage is separate from the Auren subscription. Auren does not sell, include, or mark up provider usage.
The provider account that owns the key is responsible for the provider's charges, limits, and terms. Cost figures shown in Auren are estimates based on published provider pricing and may change. The provider's current usage records and pricing control the actual charge.
Auren generates one passage at a time and caches generated audio on the device. Optional preloading can generate one additional passage before you play it. You can turn preloading off in Settings.
